Resources

(AKA The Loving List)

Supporting you in sustaining your whole-person wellness is my goal. The list below includes some favorite resources to support you on your journey outside of sessions.

Fitness: PureFit Lagree Studio

Lagree is the hardest and most fun workout I’ve found. It is high intensity, low impact on joints, and you feel like a superhero when you’re done. I teach and attend classes at PureFit Lagree Studio in Bend. For your first class, you’ll need grip socks, workout clothes, and a willingness to shake, sweat, and be sore the next day; register here

Personal growth and empowerment: Her Table Wealth and Wellness

Darci Walker and Annie Book are two amazing, highly skilled women combining their expertise to bring empowerment to women in all areas of life. Their combined work is the endeavor Her Table Wealth and Wellness. You can sign up for their newsletter and learn about their offerings on the website.

Care for your beautiful body-self: Lovely Wild Sugaring

Sam at Lovely Wild Sugaring is a great body-positive ally and sugarist to work with. You can find out more about Sam and her offerings here.

Speaking of that beautiful body-self…let’s talk bras.

Let’s get you the support you deserve. There are all sorts of statistics that get bandied about regarding women and their bra sizes…and most of it takes the tone that “women are too (insert negative adjective here) to actually figure it out.” Not true! You are your own best expert, but you may not have the information and resources you deserve to succeed. There is a lot more to finding a great fit than just a band and cup size. A Bra That Fits is a great resource for information about breast shapes, breast tissue distribution, and more that affects which bras can work well for you. Getting a bra that truly fits your body can make a huge difference in what it feels like to be in that body. A properly-fitting bra that feels good to you can make a difference in posture, shoulder tension, neck tension, and back pain, especially for larger-busted women. You deserve to feel good, supported, and powerful in your body. You are worth the time and resources it takes to find what feels good. I hope this resource helps.
